We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at BMW Financial Services Korea.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to support business operations and enhance system performance.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud technologies while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support BMW Financial Services’ operations.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance improvement.
- Ensure cloud security by implementing best practices and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Support containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and manage microservices architectures.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues related to cloud services, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services and enhance application scalability.
- Document and maintain cloud architecture, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, system administration, or DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platform especially AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on performance optimization.
- Experience in implementing security best practices for cloud environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment with strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
- Experience in CI/CD tools (Github Action, ArgoCD)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls).
- Familiarity with scripting and Automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Previous experience in financial services or regulated industries is a plus.
