Job Description
The Application Development and Operations Manager will be responsible for the oversight new business and contract management applications focus on lease and rental(MDFE). This key position ensures that both systems are highly available and performing optimally to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
-Manage the day-to-day operations of the systems to ensure efficient and effective functionality, as well as troubleshoot any arising issues.
-Address daily IT operation management needs and respond to ad-hoc requests from various business units.
-Oversee outsourced developers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
-Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive innovation and create solutions that enhance business operations.
-Administer the implementation of system updates and patches to adhere to regulatory requirements and safeguard security.
Minimum Requirements
-At least 3 years of experience in developing Java Web Applications in the financial sector.
-More than 5 years of experience in application maintenance and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
-Over 2 years of experience in application development utilizing Oracle.
-A proven track record of successfully leading troubleshooting efforts in complex, interconnected system environments.
-Expertise in diagnosing and improving application performance.
-Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries for high performance.
-Experience in managing solution vendors and outsourced development teams.
-Familiarity with mobile application development technologies, both hybrid and native.
-Knowledge of TLS (Transport Layer Security) certification systems.
-Experience in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
-Strong English communication skills with the ability to work with global IT engineers.
-Experience developing solutions using IT documentation written in English.
